bad karma meets good karma...

we took a late lunch with our friend actor/model R at the local eatery. on the way back to the workshop, R told us that he used to go to the buddhist temple in azusa for meditation. meditation? here in azusa? we never seen nor heard of the buddhist temple around here. but R said that the street we were on looked very familiar to him. so we wandered around a little bit and somehow got to this marvelous place located very near our workshop.

it was dhammakaya meditation center
and theravada buddhist school

felt like we were in southeast asia.
R said it supposed to be packed with people
on the weekends but the place was empty and quiet.
shinya said he didn't need meditation,
just walking around in the woods
was great enough for him.

Same thing happened to me. Stumbled upon a Vietnamese Buddist temple in the middle of nowhere Texas. I was comming back from a Ducati track day and there it was. My wife and I stopped a hung out for about two hours. It was great! I also wanted to say that I love the Bantam bike!
