no, not next year but in 2012...

the panorama print at the starting point
of the cannonball 2010. thank you,michael!
we also recieved the news that they 
postponed the next cannonball to 2012.
that's good for us, we'll be so ready by then.


キャノンボールのスタート地点で撮った記念写真が
マイケル・リクターから送られてきた。未だに実感なし。
そして、次回のキャノンボールが2012になった。
それなら準備万端だ。
それからGちゃん、随分前に届いてたのに今日箱を開けたの。
そしたらお煎餅。嬉しい、ありがとう!

the wrapping paper of osenbei(rice cracker)
had these japanese armorial bearings
and it made me do monkiri, 
the paper-cutting, 
was very popular during edo-period.

お煎餅が入っていた袋の紋を見たらやりたくなった、
紋切り遊び。少しもお正月気分が盛り上がらないアズサの師走に、
お煎餅と紋切り遊びでお正月気分に浸る。

That photo is very cool. I like how it is in black and white too. I love the paper cutting as i LOVE paper and cutting she says excitedly. I love how many artists use surgical scalpels to cut them out.Thats kind of cool to me but then im weird. How was the Show? I got sick.Bummer days.My husband works in little tokyo so I was planning on going and bringing my daughter but no such luck.Happy New Year!PS dont choke on any mochi!
